Hello all hope everyone is well. This may come as a stupid question, but here goes.
I am installing used headers on my 79 spit. They were a bargain and cleaned up rather nicely. My question is this:
I snapped the copper tube that connects the intake manifold to the EGR valve that sits atop the exhaust manifold.
Do I really need the EGR? Can I simply not install it on the headers, and cap the site on the intake manifold?
If I do this, there will only be one vac line going between the Stromberg and dizzy. Do I need to make any adjustments?
I welcome any feedback.
