I read that China is building an $86 million "International Auto Museum" in Beijing. It will be primarily devoted to Chinese cars. I don't know how much of that money goes to the buildings and how much to the collection, but I imagine someone will have lots of fun populating it. They hope to have it (and 999 other new museums!) ready for the 2010 Olympics.
Also read that Malcolm Bricklin (who brought us the Bricklin safety/sports/whatever gullwing car, and brought Subaru and Yugo to the US) has given up the idea of importing cars made by Chery (Chinese) to the US and now wants to design and build his own again. Busy guy!
