The Keenan Update
Today I install the new exhaust system that allows me to you SU carbs.
All I have to do know is clean the ones up and drive.
I have all the parts including nice flat air filters from K&N I believe I forgot witch ones I order.
So hopefully I’ll have my HS4’s on her and tunes right and running by the 27th just in time to leave for my cabin on the 28th wit my mate Steve, if not I have a club member who will loan me a running older style SU set, but I hope to have mine working.
Got a lot of tings done today, stripped out the Zenith stuff, bought fuel lines and a bass T piece and all the other good stuff, switching to a clean fuel filter like I was recommended to do, good idea Carl, makes sense to me. I also did some tuff for mw, please don’t frown to much, I install courtesy lights for the trip for we can see when we get in and out in the dark and read maps, and they were 75% off at the store so I could not help my self.
I installed a MGF shifter knob after modifying it to fit, I drilled her out and weld the original thread in there, then but a stop lock nut on and spine her in to place, I stated fixing all the chips and filling in the scratches in my car, I’ll touch up and wet sand tomorrow after noon. Install new threshold plats that I was saving for MG2006 the nice ones with the MG logo on them. I charged up the battery to full power changed the rear passenger tire, O and I bought a nice little extension chrome pipe to beautifies the exhausted system a little.
Tomorrow schedule goes wake up 5:30 am jog to work out work out till 7 then go to the shop and install the new exhaust and have her back at home by noon, then one step left.
The begining of the end f the saga mates.
God's speed to all and Take care,
Keenan
