Gday all, our 66B is difficult to start first start of the day(10/12 attempts), but after it has started it will start first time every time.If you have a routine that you use to get me past this please advise me. Thanks Bob
I would just bet that he has a leak down on the float bowls. If the pump is not working correctly it takes a bit of time to fill them as well.
Check for gas leaks overnite from the bottoms of the carbs. Let your elec fuel pump (I assume) run a bit before trying to start the car. Fill those bowls.
My train of thought also Doc. If the bowls leaked down a bit, I would think the pump would have them full long before 10 or 12 tries, but one never knows. That's what I love about these cars, they keep you guessing and on your toes!
