TR2/3/3A The "Counting Cars Effect?"

So I'm driving the TR3 and exit the beltway onto Beechnut, a place where there's always bums at the light asking for money. I see the same ones often. There is a one legged guy and the light goes to red as I approach. The one legged guy jumps up and points to me and shouts "Dude, check this out". He pulls his iphone out of his pocket and says "I got a picture of you -weren't you at Mack Donald down town at main?" The light changes to green as I say "maybe", and remember getting a picture of my car and the main street sign a few months back for the Moss motoring challenge, from the McDonnalds parking lot (and a one legged bum taking our picture). How weird is that?

Guess you don't see many one legged "bums" carrying iPhones. He's probably been watching for you ever since taking the photo.

(Too many) years ago, I was stuck in traffic in my new TR3 after a concert at Tanglewood in Mass. Two attractive girls walked by and one of them said "He's from Connecticut too". If I knew then what I know now....
