The Battle Begins

/bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

Have a safe and pleasant flight home, Ben!

I take it that we can all assume that Ben has concluded the exorcism successfully?

Paul - much as we'd like to think it's done, I'd bet that Dale should determine the "exorcism success quotient"!

Tinster - waddaya say ????

THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU!

Hi Ray;

Your right about that! But, there is still nothing like driving a Series I OTS: /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif

I also belong to several Jag Clubs / Forums but the "BCF" is still one of "THEE" best for "ALL MARQUES":

Regards, Russ /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif

You'er welcome anytime Russ. Had a friend in the late 60's who had a nice looking XK120. I remember when he and I decided to adjust the valves. WHAT and effort! Measure gap, change shim caps, measure gap, change shim caps... Get it to where you think it is good then drive. The car was a hoot. He finally sold it after a girl friend of his plopped down and parked herself on the boot. A sad sight.

You are a sick man, Bill, very sick....

Can we tag this one as "Crypty's Girl"?

Congrats Dale!

I have to admit, compared to what you've been through with Crypty, I can't complain too much about Baldrick... Robyn even drove him to work today. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif

I definitely have to do something about the Z-S carb... I did some calculating and have determined that my Dodge 4x4 p/u is getting better fuel mileage (almost 21 mpg) than Baldrick (less than 20 mpg). /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

Bill,

You really ought to stop poppin' them peyote buttons, dude!
How many nightmares is it gonna take before you see
the wisdom and give them up?

Paul- You jest about Pedro/Crypty being gone for good!
Five miles driven since last break down, that all.

They are just lurking, gathering their energy back for
another sneak attack when I least expect it.

I am sure there will be demons aplenty for David to deal
with when he arrives in two weeks.

A major battle has been won but the DPO Pedro/Crypty
war still rages.

Dale,
You just drive and drive that car until you have wrung Crypty's neck. You need to get a few hundred miles under the wheels to exorcise those evil spirits.

Nick
I plan to help him put a few miles on that new car called Amos in about two weeks. I'm taking my wife and 2 daughters to meet the Hero of Puerto Rico,Dale (AKA CRYPTY KILLER), and as a Thank You for letting me go down and help Dale the first time.
Will do my best to keep this forum up to speed.
Dave
P.S. I second what Ben said about both Dale and Wendy, and Basil and this forum. This is the most exciting place to spend my spare time!

This should probably be a new thread but I will produce the thought and if it produces interest we can start a new thread with it.

I have noticed that our wives are getting mentioned more and more on this forum and some are getting to know each other. A few evenings ago I was talking with Shirley about this and she said that she would like to get to know some of the other wives too.

Wonder what the rest of you think about this and would a separate forum be the way to do that? Or some other way?

Tom
excellent idea!!

let's get a thread for names of wives

Dave

Hey guys think about this. I know there are ladies who participate on this forum and we welcome them. But to get my wife involved! She will blow my cover. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek.gif

I think that Dale and Kodanja have way too much time on their hands......

They each need another project car to keep them busy and out of Photoshop.
