Offline
Picked up a TD drive train last week. Pulled the crank out. I don't have a manual for sizes. Would someone Please post the main and rod journal sizes. Want to see if this crank is any good.

Thanks

Marv

Marv,
Crankpin diameter standard 1.772"
Crankpin minimum diameter for regrind 1.722"
Standard main journal diameter 2.047"
Main journals frist regrind diameter 2.027"
Main journals second regrind diameter 2.007"
Hope this helps and have a good day!

John

Thanks John, I may be in trouble. Crank has been turned .030 over all ready. Hate to go to .050 but there is pitting on the journals

Weld it up and start over at .STD size.

Cheap at twice the cost, eh?

I remember doing a .080" on rods on a flatmotor with a flat crank.
In the days when I didn't have a barn full of flatmotor bits.

Machine shop didn't want to spin it .080, but they did, worked fine.
