Taste of New England Spring!

Woke Ol Yeller up today. She fired right up and I backed out of the garage. So far so good. How ever, when I hit the breaks to stop, Yup, right to the floor. I don't have room enough to open the hood in the garage to check the fluids but I didn't see anything on the cardboard I had under the thing, no leaks that I could see. I grabbed a handful of parking break and then checked the fluid level in the breaks. Hmmm. dry. There wasn't any leak showing at any of the wheels and none on the fire wall. Guess I'll have to get under her to see where it went. So much for a ride about today. 80 deg. in my part of wisconsin today.

It'll give me the time to check it out.

In the low 60's today and partly sunny at least.

Snuck out at lunch time and took the TR for its first drive of the spring (not of the year though - was still driving in January thanks to the weird winter weather we had).

/bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cryin.gif My Spitfire has no wheels, no driveshaft, no alternator, no dashboard, no steering wheel, carpet or seats and it's 80 degrees today. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wall.gif

The crazy driver in front of you was watching you stare at yourself in the mirror instead of looking ahead...

PS...Bill...your car looked pretty good in the sun today as well!

I had a Strange One Today:

I was Motoring down RT.33S (For those who know the Highway); 2 Lanes & I`m in the Slow Lane Putt-Putting along around 65mph and a NY License Plate, (Nothing Personal New Yorkers-Big Lincoln Town Car), passes Me like I`m parked: Pulls ahead a couple of Car Lengths and [censored] Near Stops Dead in His Tracks in the Fast Lane & Looking Back at Myself!! As I pulled Up along side of Him, Still in the Slow Lane, (Thinking there was something wrong with My Car), All He said was "WOW" Nice TR4; What year is It!! I`m amazed that someone did`nt rear end him!!

Anyways; I guess stranger things Happen;

Regards, Russ
