From the issues brought up on the Forum, I'd go back to original bushings. I am doing a ground up restoration and I'm putting back in the original stuff. Unless your racing you won't need the "stiff" bushings. PM me for a great source for them.sheldon said:

I've had polyurethane and stock rubber/metal bushings on my BJ8. The last set of rubber/metal bushings squeaked unmercifully. I'm now running polymer bushings from Tom's Import Toys. Very happy with them.

The 'radiator saver' bushings are a no-brainer; rubber ones rot out quickly in the oily environment.
