Sunsets and sunrises

just wait 'til our cell phones are fully run by AI systems.
My cell phone has not worked as a phone for the last two days.
The only 'repair' or service is AI.
That was all The customer service available.
Still not functional, I don't have much faith that AI will be helpful in the future.

One reason I selected the cell phone I currently have is the quality of the camera. When my son got out of the Corps, he, my daughter, and I went on a camping trip out to CO, UT, and AZ. I didn't have a real camera at the time, and my old cell phone was well, pushing ten years old, so I hunted around and found one with a camera that seemed sufficiently capable. I bought a Samsung Galaxy S20, it has three lenses with the following specs:
Main Camera12 MP, f/1.8, Dual Pixel PDAF, OIS
Ultra-Wide Camera12 MP, f/2.2, 120˚ field of view
Telephoto Camera64 MP, f/2.0, PDAF, OIS, 3x hybrid zoom

I'm breaking the rule of this thread a bit, but here is a photo from that vacation taken with my cell phone using the wide angle. This was on the side of Hwy 261 entering the Valley of the Gods in SE Utah.

Walt - we have to assume the sun is either setting or rising in your photo - whether we see it or not!

It's setting somewhere...

I had a version of this last week. I could not log into our new cell phone service with my laptop - only my phone. My AI 'helper' would not schedule a call back to address this until I logged in - which was the problem in the first place. 🤬 Finally managed to get a callback (it is always a bit voodoo how that works) only to be told that yes, not being able to log in on a laptop was a known issue, they were working on it and would likely have it resolved in the next couple of weeks. :rolleyes2:

I realize that all tech is satan, but perhaps the most frustrating part is that the reason we went with this company rather than a cheaper option was for their customer service - sheesh!
