Thursday night we had a storm blow through early in the evening. It knocked out the power for a third of the county, but had the courtesy to blow off before it was time for our fireworks. In its wake it also left a beautiful sunset. I didn't grab my camera before heading out, so these are just taken with my cell phone. The last one is my new phone wallpaper.

We weren't quite to where my son wanted to take me due to some issues we encountered along the trail and the light was changing fast, so as we came out of the trees along the ridge we were on I made him stop so I could catch this.
