Drove home fom my holidays yesterday and saw lots of interesting cars cruising northwards on the M25, M40, M42, M6:
9 (!) <span style="font-weight: bold">Aston Martins</span>- 7 new-ish <span style="font-weight: bold">Vantages </span>but with 1 <span style="font-weight: bold">DB5 </span>and 1 <span style="font-weight: bold">V8</span>
7 New-ish <span style="font-weight: bold">Bentleys</span>, 2 convertibles and even an Estate car?!
8 Lotus <span style="font-weight: bold">Elises </span>& an <span style="font-weight: bold">Exige</span>
3 TVRS a new-ish <span style="font-weight: bold">Tuscan </span>and <span style="font-weight: bold">Cerbera </span>and an older <span style="font-weight: bold">Griffith</span>.
Too many Porsche, Mazda MX5s, BMW Zs to mention.
Interesting older cars:
<span style="font-weight: bold">Healey 100-6</span>
2 <span style="font-weight: bold">Spitfires</span>
3 <span style="font-weight: bold">MGBs </span>- 1 RB GT & 2 CB
1 <span style="font-weight: bold">MG Midget </span>- on a trailer....
2 <span style="font-weight: bold">Morgans </span>- 1 flat grilled.
An <span style="font-weight: bold">Austin A40</span>
1 <span style="font-weight: bold">Jag XK130/40/50 </span>and a <span style="font-weight: bold">MK 2 Saloon</span>.
A <span style="font-weight: bold">Cobra </span>replica (had to be... I think)
1 known <span style="font-weight: bold">Caterham 7</span> and another that might have been a kit replicar.
Furrin stuff:
Bathtub <span style="font-weight: bold">Porsche</span>
<span style="font-weight: bold">Citroen DS19</span>
over 14 <span style="font-weight: bold">Messerschmitt micro-cars </span>in three groups - must have been a club rally.
American cars:
Mid-50s <span style="font-weight: bold">Mercury Montclair </span>(!)
A <span style="font-weight: bold">Plymouth Fury </span>and <span style="font-weight: bold">Dodge Charger </span>(in Dukes of Hazzard paint
)
A mid-70s <span style="font-weight: bold">Corvette</span>.
And the one that made my day: while driving north on the M40 between London and Oxford a <span style="font-weight: bold">Bugatti Veyron </span>passed me. (of course it would, do I really imagine I might pass it?) He was only going about 90, just a little faster than the rest of us....
A very interesting car spotting trip...

now all I need is a holiday to recover from my holiday....
Anyone else see anything as interesting over the weekend?
