SU Question

The SU's that came with my car, but not on it, are tagged as being on a 1098 motor from 62-67 if I recall. The are the
1 1/4" bore SU's. Now, will they work on my 1275 as-is, or is there something different about them? And when I build my motor, and build it up a healthy amount, will they still work fine?
Reason I ask is I want the get the Weber DGV off due to the lack of clearance between it and the hood. There are other things about it I'm not happy with also, so might as well get rid of it. Also, everyone here tells me the SU's are the way to go. So if they will work out, I'll send them off to get restored (Hap's work on Gundy's was amazing)and get them on the car.

Those carbs will work just fine - I'm pretty sure they used HS2's on 1275's as well. I have a single HS4 from an MGB on my 1500. As you can see from the chart below you are well within the range - and - engines like slightly smaller carbs.
