SU Fuel Pump Pressure

The AUF300 (AZX1300) series pumps, including those fitted to the BJ8, came with one of two outlet pressures: 2.7 or 3.8 psi. What is the outlet pressure for the AUF301 pump fitted to the BJ8? I would have assumed that the prior pump (LCS: AUA 72, AUA 172 and AUA 173) would be similar. I recently asked Burlen about the LCS pumps and the reply was a bit confusing to me as they gave a range that includes both AUF300 pressures: 2 to 3.8 psi. Burlen's website gives the same range for the HP pumps fitted to the 100 and the early 100-6. I don't know if that means that the pressure could be that different for pumps of the same specification (AUA 72) or that the range covers different specifications (AUA 52 and AUA 72).

Down in the weeds.

I run a small fuel pressure gauge on my 100-4, and it is right around 2.5 PSI with a standard SU pump. I recently replaced it with a Facet pump and it measures 3.3 PSI, and no problems.
