Studs for intake/exhaust manifolds

I'll be installing my newly JetHot coated intake manifold and Pacesetter headers soon and thought I'd replace the attaching studs, washers and nuts as well. Any recommendations on the grade of stud and where to buy? Are they all the same or is there different sizes/lengths? Can I get these on stainless and is there any special trick to getting them out of the head?
Thanks,

Paul, If I were you, I would just call The Roadster Factory and order all new studs, telling them what car you have. You will play the dickens trying to find these studs from NAPA or most other automotive vendors. These are all SAE fine thread on both ends. Studs are generally a grade 8 quality. Don't even think about using stainless here. Make sure that you order the correct nuts and lock washers as well. I opted for grade 8 all-metal lock nuts and the appropriate flat washers on some of the studs because of a clearance problem that headers will cause. Plus, the metal lock nuts I found had a tapered head which gave me a little more working room.

Getting them out of the head can be tricky if they are frozen in. Because of the short length of the studs, the usual donut-shaped stud remover usually won't work. I used a really large pair of locking pliers and a hammer to coax them out.

I checked TRF catalog and didn't see them listed, so that's why I posted. They do have their own overhaul facility, so I guess that they would have studs and nuts for all applications. Thanks Bill, for the tip.
