Hi all,
I am ready to install the (uprated / Uncle Jack's) stub axle on my TR4A front suspension.
Should I apply a thin coat of grease (or anti-seize) to the taper that goes into the vertical link?
My gut tells me yes - the grease would keep moisture out and prevent resulting rust. But does the thin film of grease affect the friction fit of the taper? In an MG post, Dr. Entropy advised "yes" - https://www.britishcarforum.com/bcf...fore-reinstalling-hub-on-a-MGA&highlight=stub
