The TR4 that we are working on has floats in the strombergs which look like raisins. IE: they are wrinkled and cracked. So we have been looking for new ones. Moss has them, but they also list plastic ones in the E-type area. Are they the same carburators? Can we use the E type floats, they are half the price. I found a souce that says they are 175 Strombergs. But why are the floats listed as a different number?

Joe Curto has the good ones, very nicely made for the TR4. I highly recommend them.

The floats on the pre-emission ZS carbs as used on the TR4 are different from the later "emission control" types used on TR250-6, E type, and others.
