While working behind the dash area today, a small
piece of metal fell out. It has commission # cc28932L
stamped on it. A shaped 2" by 2" thin gage aluminum
tab with one ragged edge.
I have several obvious modern replacement plates that
all vary in Comm #. My engine block # is cc 4195 E
which makes it a TR250.
This tab I found today matches the comm # on a black
replacement tag located near the door latch by my left
elbow.
Anyone have any idea what this metal tag I found might be?
or where it used to reside? I feels kinda old to me and has
a patina pattern like aged aluminum. The ragged edge appears
to be a metal fatigue break.
thanks
