can someone please give me the dimension of the rack from ball end to ball end where the tie rods attach? i'm looking at using this R&P for another application.
thanks,
Fred V

To complicate your question, the Mk1 rack was different than those that came later. Do you know the age/vintage of the rack you want to use?

Hey Fred,

Please pardon a Healey guy for butting in, but I recently shortened a Spridget rack and installed it in Big Healey.

One of the first things to do in trying to correct bump steer is to understand what creates bump steer.

I'm not trying to imply that you don't, but I didn't until I really researched the issue.

I'd be glad to share what I learned with you. Email me at tim@ntahc.org.
