Stag STAG 4-barrel Manifold

I have seen photos of STAG engines with 4-barrel manifolds. Does anyone know what manifold they are using or the carburetor installed?

Offenhauser 5165 - Offenhauser 360 Degree Single Quad Low-Rise Intake Manifold is designed for 215 Buicks AND Rovers and such.
Summit has them.
Also, Edelbrock 21981 - Edelbrock Performer Intake Manifold may be of interst...low riser would keep the 'burettor low...

Stag motor taint a Buick motor Dave
It's all LBC but I think you know more than I

The one's I have seen are standard Stag intakes that have had the top machined down and a 4 barrel adapter plate with a 7 degree angle welded on top. Also seen ones that use a weber downdraft.

Hmm....I mis-spoke, true enough. Was thinking 215 Buick.

Having trouble seeing photos clearly today. This 28 and snow has given me a migraine that won't quit.

Now that's odd. I didn't "send" the first one, it was still on-screen, finished and sent it, and it's there both ways.

The notes I have indicate that Tony Fox in Canada tonyfox@sympatico.ca, sells a 4bbl intake manifold for the Stag motor (and not the BOP/Rover motor). Tony Hart in the UK https://www.hartrace.demon.co.uk/ sells an adapter plate to fit a Holley to the original manifold, but I hear it's still kind of restrictive.

PS, photo above is a Holley carb.

Actually Randall, Tony Fox sells the adapter plate that fits on a stock Triumph Stag intake manifold. It is set up for a 390 CFM Holley. Last I checked, Tony Fox adapter is $135.
The Tony Fox unit is a bit less cost than the Tony Hart (HRS) unit and has some design changes from HRS design.

Cheers!

Thanks for the clarification, Glenn. I must've misread my archive.

FWIW, I had the Offy manifold with a 465 Holley 4-barrel on a manual Rover V8.

Long time back now, but I recall it provided useful extra power for towing a boat. Fuel consumption suffered though over the original SU carbs.
