Can you get someone to do that whilst you carefully check the crank pulley movement on the front. You may wish to disconnect the fan belt first to be safe. If the pulley moves forward a little it could be your crank thrust washers ?

Not a fresh rebuild. Fairly certain it just has the stock rear scroll.
I did check crank end float and it was at 0.0085”
That’s not too far out but maybe enough where I’m getting a rub. Replacing thrust washers would be easy enough.
Wish I had inspected the block closer when I had the flywheel off.
