Hi Gents:
I've been away for a bit because I broke may hand and haven't been able to work on the Midget at all. I'm nearing the time when the cast is off and want to get some things lined up.
The first thing I want to tackle is fabricating new upper and lower control arms. I'm going to do a tube dampener conversion, but use a traditional spring--basically duplicate The-Mite. So, for the RB, what is the best spring? I obviously want to drop it down to at least Chrome Bumper height, but prefferably, an 3/4" or so below that. Since I'm fabbing my own control arms, will the lowered CB springs match the upper spring perch on the RB chassis?
I don't want to do coilovers.
So before I place a big order for poly bits, I'd like to know what front spring to use. Think fast roadwork / AutoX. Tons of more questions, but I'll hold off for now.
-Thanks, Chris
