Spark plugs for 61, BT7

What spark plugs should I use in my 61, BT7? It has been suggested that I use a Champion RN12YC. What affect will using a resistor plug have on engine performance and will it cause a colder spark due to the resistor?

I've used RN12YC for about 130K miles with no problems I can attribute to the plugs (rotors, wires, etc. well, that's a different story). I've used these plugs with modern, noise-suppression wires but these don't play well with the stock caps so went to stranded copper wire as original. Any equivalent plug--NGK come highly recommended--should work fine.

I believe the resistance in the plug is insignificant compared to the resistance of the gap.
