There is a BT7 (if I remember) on Ebay with the spare on the boot lid. I'm just curious, did they mount a spare hub to the lid? I'm not sure it would take the weight.

Yes, with two (2) spare tires on top of it. While not shown often, in at least one of my Healey books, there's a picture with the "boot" open (no cable to limit lift height, it's laying all the way up against the hdtp window).Johnny said:GregW said:I wonder if you are thinking of the rally lid.
