Thanks to Hawaii Guy over in 6-Pack, I picked up a Space Saver Spare today and everything fits as advertised. I just updated my site with all the specs and pictures but here's a few pictures for the Forum.

Yup, that was me. What I found was that the junkyard rim would not clear my front calipers (I think the TR3/A calipers may stick out just a bit more than the smaller brakes used on TR4-6), so I had to move the tire to an original TR3 rim.Geo Hahn said:As I recall. there are space savers that will mount up to a TR3 rim (which would eliminate any concerns about caliper clearance).
Someone (possibly Randall) has done this & I would appreciate any suggestions on what size space saver works.

Have them change it.

So you're suggesting I sit on the side of the road and wait for them to just happen along?DNK said:I didn't say not to carry it. I said have them change it, RANDALL

I would think so - the front brakes should be very similar to a TR6, and everything else would match up.
