I can't remember which forums I've posted this request in, so please excuse me if this is a repeat. When the first TR7s came out I lived in North Carolina, and it wasn't long before the Leyland regional manager got permission to create a special TR7 edition for the six southeast states in his empire. I saw a lot of them back then, with 5-speeds and a sliding glass roof and special striping/badging. There are a few photos of one in a junkyard in Winston Salem NC here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/stormbear/sets/72157594382743019/
There's a contemporary article showing the trim and the sunroof along with words to describe the cars here: https://www.templeoftriumph.org/tsoa/TSOAMayJun76.pdf
But apart from these, and a mention in Bill Piggott's book, I can't find a single picture. My own 76 TR7 (the one I bought back then) is about to undergo a long-overdue restoration and I was seriously thinking about recreating the Southern Skies edition but I don't have a high-enough resolution photo of the badge, although I've made a "close enough" version from the Stormbear photo. Does anyone have a photo or any other information??? It would be much appreciated! And again, apologies if this is a repeat request -- I know it's annoying to read the same things over and over.
