I called and they looked up and found the same items then tried to get them and said "no, can't get them".
I've got one old-style store near me, and have found the O'Reilly's guys near me to be surprisingly helpful. That said, I'm only ever using them for basic stuff (oil, filters, spark plugs, battery). All specific parts come from Moss or similar. Too much work to try and hunt them down otherwise, when one of the LBC parts guys can mail it to me in a few days.Gerard said:... and that is the problem with the the "chain" local auto parts stores. We used to have independent stores in my neighborhood where you could walk in in get them off the shelf. If the weren't on the shelf, they'd get them for you in a couple hours. They've closed up years ago, and so it goes I'm guessing, around the country.

IIRC, Pep has a listing and can get them. Problem is most Spridget stuff from boxes is through Beck Arnley and pricey. $474 for a TR6 master cylinder for example.
