Doug - do you have a good collection of car photos you've made over the years?

Might be nice to have them all on one website for viewing.

You do realize that you're dealing with a person who can't
even install his Powerplay 8 track player, don't you?

Doug - you could upload photos to a personal album here on BCF.

I'll bet Basil could give you a hand on that.

Now that is a good selection!

Mid '60s Mercedes-Benz 220SE I think.

Amazing! I never see anything like this in hinterland... I believe that Russian car is a Moskvich, something I've never seen before...

Where is the convoy of "overseas containers" supporting this international driving adventure?

I owned a 1965 Mercedes 220 SEb. Fuel-injected 6-cylinder, 4-speed column shift, no power steering. Paid $2500 for it, kept it for a few years and sold it for $1,650.00 to a guy whose shoelaces were untied. I feared the worst, and sure enough, a couple of weeks later, I got a call from a local attorney that "Shoelaces" had blown the gearbox. Tough luck. I actually bought a set of new shocks for that car in Lisbon, Portugal (even got a mechanic's discount!) Had the grille rechromed but the car developed rust and had to go.
