and some might not. I was cleanig out my emails and came across some info. that might come in handy. I had an email from a guy in california that I bought my datsun transmission from on ebay. He was wanting me to convert some more yokes for him for the drive shafts and I informed him that I really did not have the time. Anyways he told me that he was on his third datsun transmission, reason being, TOWING. He said that the datun tranny cannot take towing, evidently the output shaft does not stir the gear oil up and get it on the otehr gears when towing. He said that he would not tow his midget across the street any more without dropping the drive shaft. I made a note of this and plan on making a bracket above the tunnel to wire the drivshaft up out of the way if I ever had to tow my midget and keep two cheap 1/2" wrenches with the wire and stow it in the trunk if ever needed. Just a word to the wise for all you with conversions out there.

Was watching one of the vids on Jay Lenos site where they were explaining this as well. Basically, if you ever break down make sure you explain to your recovery company to send a flat-bed, even if it means waiting a bit longer! Alternatively, send a decent mechanic that can fix the car and send you on your way...
