Snow Arrived This Afternoon

Where's Al Gore when we need him? One shot of that hot air will melt anything on the ground.

We had a few inches here in DC. The city salted the heck out of the streets, as they always do. The real bummer is that I've been trying to put together a gathering of LBC folks in my neighborhood (there are about fifteen of us within a mile or two of each other, and only realized it recently), and the snow put the kibosh on it.

That said, I try to drive all of our LBCs through the winter when weather allows. A few rainfalls should wash the salt away, and we often have nice LBC weather all winter long. Of course, as a former Vermonter, nice LBC weather for me is a pretty loose term -- as long as there's no precipitation, it's top down weather in my book. And winter is about the only time of year that the temperature in the Tiger is anywhere near tolerable!
