We had some snow this morning.I was really surprised at how people
"panic buy" stuff at the grocery store. This is just supposed to last a couple
of days.I'd expect people who live here to be a little more jaded about this.

It is a thing around here too. They forecast 6" of snow, which might shut things down for a day at most, and everybody needs run out and get a month's worth of groceries the day before.

12" to 18" predicted for Elliot's area.

hmmm... French Toast...

Off to the kitchen!

You got that right Doc. I just came inside from plowing my driveway and shoveling the walks. I did it last night also. Right now there’s a lull in the storm but it’s supposed to start again this afternoon and keep snowing until 5am Tuesday.
French Toast and a coffee sounds good to me right now. Keep the coffee on doc.

Good work, sir!

My pals over in Schnecksville sent me a photo as of 5:00 PM yesterday, a slight dusting at that point. Latest is an overnight of about 10"~12" there. They've an "industrial" walk-behind snow blower, I've no desire to learn how to work it.

All good here! Just made the French toast, Mitsy wolfed down a couple slices. Coffee's freshly brewed.

I was just going to go outside for round 1. Close to a foot already. Looks like its going to snow all day. Now I just want French Toast.

6-7" so far but blowing hard and blizzard conditions. Plow was here once already and will definitely have to make another pass later today or tomorrow am. Outdoor car is in a city garage free of charge per the Mayor so the entire drive and parking area can be cleared. Birds at feeder for the first time in a while since I poured out the Safflower seeds and put in Black Oil Sunflower seeds. Wish I was in Florida.

I've wondered about how many of these people that really stock up big time
lose a lot of it when the electricity goes out,so that their fridge/freezer doesn't work?
We got a little snow (under 6"),but nothing like you guys up North.

We've got about 14 inches and it looks like it is letting up. It's 19:50 hrs here on Monday. NORTH Central Pa. I blew it out this morning for about two hours then went to the doctors appointment. Got home about noon and said to the wife boy a tall stack of pancakes right about now seems good. Now this evening the drive and paths need blown out again but it'll wait till morning, no where to go till Thursday. Then a little skiing in the Poconos. Boy I need to get back on that MGB soon.

I think they're plotting the groundhog's demise.

Tuesday morning and it's still snowing here in central PA. Not heavy but steady.

A few inches of "concrete" slush in Boston. My feet were soaked in no time when shoveling this AM. And my back will remind me tomorrow of today's work. Wet stuff!!

Still snowing, but not much more is supposed to stick.

Just finished blowing snow for the last time on this storm I hope. It was really a light snow here this time. Thank god the lights have stayed on. Everyone bow down to the power company gods. Their doing a pretty good job these days.

pdplot My MGB, new to me, is just up the road at Marc Evens shop and car sales from you. I am in Tuckahoe at sons for awhile yet. Car should be completed next month.

Almost 24 inchs of snow here on back porch. Oh, will ship car to Altana when ready.

OK. I may drop by just to see how things are progressing - without making it too obvious. "Just looking around". I've stopped in before to see that cars but not lately.

We got about 14" average. My son up in MA only got about 4" of slushy wet snow. The storm picked up warmer air from the ocean and the temperature never got below freezing. Just west of him, they got about 16". The ski areas are happy. The plow finally came back and we have two mountains of snow at the end of the drive.Blizzard2 2-1-21.jpgBlizzard1 2-1-21.jpg

SNOW AGAIN! Right, here it is Wednesday morning and it SNOWED AGAIN last night. Ugh. Tho it isn’t very much just enough to cover everything again. As a matter of fact it’s snowing right now.
