Snow Again

Then explain to me why every car club in England sells umbrellas.......

I think my point was that the regions ( countries ) that routinely have certain types weather seem to build cars that are the least prepared to handle that type of weather. Ex: Italy gets a lot of snow but older Italian cars don’t handle snow well. Then England which has a lot of rain built the vintage cars we love so much but are notorious for poor rain proofing.

Woke up this morning to find another inch fell during the night - unforecast. More shoveling and cleaning off the poor Honda. Wouldn't you know we're having a snowy winter, the first in many years where we had to stay up north because of Covid. Last year, temperatures were in the 50s with no snow for a long time. I hate to see my plowing bill. We have a long paved driveway with a heavy crown and worn asphalt in the center and the tire tracks remain covered with snow. The sump guard on the Alfa will hang up unless I drive to one side or the other. I think it will cost between $15K & $17K to repave.

We also got your snow hear in Tuckahoe.
