Guys, the club puts out a pretty good spread of vittles for the members to nibble on that night. Ya gotta save room for the snacks. May I recommend Jacques-Imo's on Oak Street [www.jacquesimoscafe.com/index.html] You're not that far away if you are staying at the site motel. Of course, Pascal's Manale if you want barbequed shrimp and oysters. Going fancy, try Commander's Palace on Washington, the best of course and near my son's home in the hood. Poboy? I could type for hours.
p.s. NO EXCUSES TO ANYONE CLOSE WE ARE GOING TO PROVIDE A cajun lunch for all that attend & their companions- everything's free & leaving is as the mood strikes you-(but be sure and eat lunch!lol) Let's show those American cars was automotive art on the hoof really is!!
call 337 207-4277(me) for directions. It's easy, it's close & it's Free & Fun!!!!!!!!Mick, I'm taking the XJ6 so I'll be the designated driver!Mickey Richaud said:TR6BILL said:tony barnhill said:We'll be eating it soon enough, Mick...where ya wanna go for dinner that Thursday night?

Hours, indeed!
May have to try Jacques-Imo's. That's new to us, as we left N.O. years ago. But it's in our old stomping ground; Janet grew up just the other side of Carrollton Ave., and I lived on Fontainebleau Dr. when in high school. Spent lots of time in the old Carrollton Tavern.
