Side mirrors for early cars?

Ok - I was thinking more along the way wind wings clamp onto the runner on the side of the windshield frame. Nothing like that?

Also have a look at this earlier mirror thread:

https://www.britishcarforum.com/bcforum/ubbthreads.php/topics/500856/1

A couple of participants in the above talked about using Harley Davidson/HD clone mirrors, and one chap cited part number 91930-92T . And I like the looks of both the Raydot mirros cited by Russ of Toysrus and Smaceng: guys - where can us mere mortals source these mirrors?

Thanks,
Doug

I just noticed that Halcyon Classic Goggles (one of the banner vendors on this site) sells a large assortment of mirrors. They may have just what you are looking for. No affiliation, but I did like their site .

I will check them out - THANKS!

Would you believe I found them at JC whitney. They have two set screws with a rubber spacer. They worked really well. I also used them on my 71 VW bus instead of the elephant ears.

Howdy Doug,

Any mortal can buy the Raydots from Moss for approx $65.00ea. I told you they were`nt in-expensive but they do look really good.

Russ

I've had them on my list all winter. Would like a review myself. When does VB's winter pricing end?

Try this. Harley, no holes to drill.

If you go wing mount check out Talbot mirrors.
I love the graceful lines of the Berlin model.
Work/look great on my BE. Quality mirror. IMHO

The quandry continues: do I go w/two wing mirrors or one door & one wing? Aarghh!

I'm thinking both wing. driver's normal, passenger side convex. That's the plan anyway. I wouldn't mix two different styles personally.

J: placed order this morning for two wing mirrors- can't wait to see them. Forgot to ask the young lady how long the sale is on.
