I must be sick addicted or twisted!
So this guy restores his 1973 MGB, had it since high school. New motor, upholstry, new top, tires, Even put a Aluminum head on the engine!
Then, gives it to his teenage daughter for her sweet 16.
2 weeks later she wrecks it and there it sits.
I come along 8 years later, check out the car, the chassis is worthless. When she hit, she diamonds the frame, chain reaction throughout the whole car. I point this out to him as he thinks it will just take $200 bucks and a frame alignment to fix (don't know what planet he was on thinking that way). An his wife comes out and says "Hey, a pair of these seats just sold on Ebay for $600!"
I stop talking and walk away, get in my truck and leave.
Just found the car on craigslist, called him up, ask "is your wife around?" He says no, come get the car.
So here it is, #10 in my collection of MGB's, a 1973, production date 8/72.
