Between appointments, scheduled events and unscheduled death of a friend it has taken nearly a month to form, pour and tile/grout the thing. I'm about spent. And still have the walls and tile, plumbing, new vanity and counter-top, a "pocket door" and finish work to go.

A "hula hoop", shower curtain and the garden hose would make for a fine outdoor shower, IMO. Horsemits is NOT in agreement for some strange reason. I've even volunteered to hold the hose. :smirk:

Tylenol, anyone?

Everything in life is about the vanity, isn't it??

Best to just "go along" Doc.

I feel your pain Doc. I am sure everyone remembers my kitchen remodel early spring.
I am still doing little finishing projects in it.
Hopefully the back splash tile will go on this week.

We do the master bath next year with a 90% gut. Only the vanity base will be left.
Heated floors ,new shower and base...

You are now where I will be one of these days. Not looking forward to it, but in the not too distant future our master BR will need a complete re-do/upgrade, which I plane to attempt myself.

Feel your pain doc, just did my shower last year... still have to go back and retouch a couple of things...

while the hoola shower "will suffice", you gotta admit that a comfortable environment makes for pleasant showers and light "office" reading...

Slopin' the base was a *WITCH!*

'smits was highly agitated over my slit trench suggestion, NO idea why that was an issue.

Saw a similar setup, Don. Decided the "trough" would be more trouble than it was worth. With a conventional drain I can push compressed air in it and clear out any issues... as long as I remember th' kitchen sink is ALSO on th' same system!

Up... but pneumatics is a "funny game".

Tryin' to figger a way to convince 'erself it's th' "Fountain of Youth" now.

I wish I could post an image of Her....

OH, WAIT!!!

That's HERSELF!!

A memento of simpler times, is all, Chris. But you give me an idea for the remodeled loo when complete.

Doc, you haven't mentioned it, but I assume you have passed all of the building inspections. You did pull a permit didn't you?
