Shower pan DONE.

I love that guy.

My Ol' Fella and mom's side of the family were all "detail oriented" folks. Most in the construction business "up north". They taught me ONE way to do things.
OVERKILL is not a dirty word.

Right! If you do your best in every aspect of the project the inevitable mistakes will be lessened. My mentor told me a good carpenter still makes a mistake or two but knows how to fix them. I also set pans and laid up tub and shower backs by hand for a few years. How are your forearms feeling? :thirsty:

I met doc and he only has two arms

*snork*

No problems with the arm strength. A lifetime of wrenching and the occasional cement finishing job... it's my (literally) bloody KNEES wot give me fits. Both the joints and abrasion. I couldn't be bother'd to hunt down my knee-pads.
Walked about like a drunken chicken for a couple days. :jester:

Wasn't going to say it, but sure glad it was said.

"Please Stand By".

Can't say that I've ever seen a drunken chicken before.
I'm also surprised to see that you actually have a current calander.

He doesn't really...he re-uses old ones:
•Any leap year calendar will repeat in exactly the same way every 28 years.
•Any "1st year after a leap year" will repeat in a 6-11-11 cycle, ie, it will repeat in 6 years, then come up again in 11 years, come up again in 11 more years, then repeat the 6-11-11 year cycle.
•Both "2nd year after a leap year" and "3rd year after a leap year" will repeat in an 11-11-6 cycle.

It's a local "events" calendar, Doug. Some manditory formations on there.

...and that's a 30 year old ice scraper up there, too. My "bulletin" board isn't very current but for the calendar.

As for the "funny walks" photos: some things just shouldn't be posted on th' innernets.
