sending units

I'm tired of replacing sending units for my 100/6, BN^. Is there a modern sending unit that upgrades the system? The original unit is a 1B2736. Thanks

What's the problem you are having with them? Have you modded the fuel line with a rubber hose between the tank and pump?

My fuel gage is also out and I have not yet tried to figure out the reason. Does having a rubber hose between the tank and pump cause a failure? As I said I have not looked yet. I am busy working on the brakes.

Scott--

The metal fuel line provides a ground connection for the pump. Crimp an eye-terminals onto a length of wire and run one end to one of the sender screws and the other to any good chassis ground.

Ok thanks I will look into that after the brakes are done.
