Thank you. Doug (AngliaGT) found the car back in the day and with the help of everyone here it was saved. Now I wish I could drive it more often! Driving season is now upon us and maybe I can take it out this weekend.

What year are the Miata Seats. They look great.
 
Removing the diagonal may have compromised the strength a little but it is so well made with four strong fixing plates and a good gauge of steel it still gives me confidence also the diagonal was bolted in not welded so it can be reversed. Another advantage is I can now use the rear view mirror! The seats I believe came from an 04 Miata (MX5).
