Still digging through the photos we took on the last trip. These are from the Schlumpf Collection in Alsace, now known as the French National Automobile Museum. The place is huge - several web sites refer to it as the largest car museum in the world and I can't disagree. You could spend an hour just looking at the hood ornaments (mascots) which is the best I've ever seen. Their website is here.
It's an amazing place. Great food, too!
One of my favorite GP cars of the late forties/early fifties - Talbot Lago. Not too successful but stunning nevertheless.
