Saab 9000 no start problem

Wife's car decided not to start anymore. Saab 9000 w/3.0lv6 (same engine as a Saturn). This is a sudden failure. Engine turns over, timing light sees sparks at all plugs, fuel rail has 40lbs pressure. Timing belt is intact and turns over with starter.

No tach movement. Does this indicate the cam position sensor is bad? I get a 0.2 vac signal off the CamPS when the engine turns over. But I don't know how much is needed for a "good" signal from the

I would suspect the CPS, as you do. Hopefully one of the professionals will weigh in on this one and help sort it out for you.

here's a weekend update other than it still doesn't start. New fuel pump. The motronic box gives a code 12, which is supposed to mean the motronic box is good and spark at the sparkies. I tried a different battery in case the battery voltage while turning over the engine drops too far for the electronics. Good thing my LBC's are so reliable.

I'm waiting for parts from my vendor. Autozone laughs at me when I mention Saab 9000 unless I give them a part number they can enter into their computer.

swapped out camshaft sensor and crankshaft sensor, no effect. I took off the timing cover and the rear bank camshafts are off 1 tooth on one and 2 teeth on the other. Since this is an interference engine is there a rule of thumb on how many teeth off before damage occurs to the valves. Not sure how this occurred but it ran fine until she stopped and maybe on start up the belt popped a few teeth. It looks to be in ok condition, but am going to replace it.

further investigation -- 20lbs compression cyl.#1. compression @ #3, #5 and #2 was zero. off come the heads.
