If I were ever to get a triumph myself, I think the TR4 would be the one.

Boy I tell ya. A girl leaves for a weekend and comes home after a day of cutting trees and chopping wood & a 3 hour drive and finds her name schmeared all over the forum.

No I have NOT bought a 'rumf. I WOULD buy a GT6. I would not stick $20grand into one to restore.

I would NOT buy a TR6. Or 7 or 8. Or 9 or 10 or 11 if they were available. I would drive a TR3 or 4 on a Sunday when I didn't have anything better to drive. IF I knew it would run long enough to putter me around the block.

Ummm... better yet: strap YOU into the passenger's side of BinaBox and let HER take YOU fer a ride. Early MGB's ain't your daddy's TR-6. I'd autocross this B against a comparably period TR6 happily. My 'bling' wall has "evidence" to measure it...

I drove a CB MGB as a DD for about 8 years, I love my B's...BUT I am kinda infatuated with the feel of steppin on the throttle of the 6 for now....

While I was cannibalizing a poor old '76 B at the local pull-apart yesterday, I had some guy come buy and try to sell me a '79 Spitfire for $3,000. Once I figured out he meant the one without wings I said no thanks.

Had another gent come by and start chatting about an Elva Courier he knew about. That one was NOT for sale.

Criminy - even at the graveyard, these cars get folks talking. Ya gotta love it.
