Rubber seal installation?

OK, I managed to figure out how to install the rubber trunk seal, but can't seem to puzzle out how to install the seals on the spare tire area - does it go on the body or the lid? How about the hood seals (I bought clips).

I will eventually ask about door seals and furflex, but didn't want to stress out all you nice responders

Body.

I didn't know the hood has a seal, so I can't help you with that.

That reminds me, the spare tire seal I got from TRF the other day is the wrong one. I need to call them and return it.

It goes on the body, glued into the channel with something similar to 3M weatherstrip adhesive (affectionately known as Gorilla Snot).

Ditto on hood seal -- do not know what that is (whether you mean hood in the British sense (the top) or in the American sense (bonnet)) either way... I see no seals here.

The spare tire lid seal I got from Moss was just too fat. I couldn't get the lid to line up properly. My car will only see rain on very rare occasions (like I get stuck in a sudden downpour), so I just eliminated it for now. Maybe the one from TRF is the same as I got from Moss...doesn't fit right.

The boot seal was fine, and I didn't even have to glue it in place. There are two types for the trunk. The early type fits inside a channel and the later type fits over a single riser...that's the type I have. I don't know when the change occured, but probably at TS60,000.
