Rubber Bumper to Chrome Bumper Conversion

Call him 256 776 9885. It is his last day at home, or in the area for three weeks.

Not to mention, since you don't have bumpers already you could do a fiber glass bumper conversion using those fancy bumpers they sell at https://morspeedperformance.com /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif thems the bumps that Stewart has on his B. I tell ya, his car looks really sharp in person, pictures don't do it justice. Roughly the same amount of work to put the fiberglass bumpers on. On the front you'd have to get a grill, and fill in the fender holes on the front. Then again, morSpeed also has a RB shaped fiberglass bumper shell which ought to fit with very little modifications to the car.

How did the paint turn out for the TD Tony? They get it right this time?

Got it right this time, Jack! Looks real nice on the piece he painted....so, hopefuly, when I get home she'll be painted!

Outstanding. Have a good safe trip and don't forget something nice for the wife.

no prob! I've been eye balling your products for a while. I'd wanted to convert to your fiberglass bumpers for a long time, but after my recent bumps at intersections (one guy backed into me, and another person tried to nudge me into the intersection) I've been reconsidering the idea. Still, I'm teetering between doing it and not. I have an idea that I think might look sharp for a RB car, but I haven't sketched it out nor really fleshed the idea out fully yet. I may contact you off forum after I get some drawings/sketches done up.

Could someone who has done a conversion give me an idea of how many hours of work one should expect to be charged from a body shop (presumably that is familiar with MGs). I can add the price of parts and get an overall estimate of what it would set me back.

I've been toying with this for years. My RB was my first car ever, and I would have preferred a CB, but opportunity knocked and I was poor at 17 and excited to have any MG.

My '76 is rust/bondo free, gorgeous paint, rebuilt engine, OD, twin SU carbs, etc. and is super reliable, so I'd rather do a conversion than sell and buy another CB. Although I could be tempted to sell and buy a MGA project...
