TR6 Routing Speedo cable for a J type tranny in my TR250

Got my tranny in and now trying to decide what is the best way to route the speedo cable. I do have a 90* adapter and a 73" cable. Figure it's got to be the same as a later TR6. Not sure if going under the tranny or over it and the back side of the engine.
 
Try to get a high temp grease that will not melt or separate or Lithium. Pull the cable out of housing and wipe lube as you slid it back in, a light film is all that is required with a smooth bend gauge should hold steady. Madflyer
