Rotisserie or Not?

The thing about the rig I have is I can push it out of the garage and on to the desert here--then return it by myself. Heck, I've pushed the thing all over the place for the last few years. I'd better get going......
 
As I remember a stripped body was quite heavy in the ass end..meaning in the setup with the frame support in the rear ending at the spring box you would be very light at the front forks...probably need to make sure they were tied down and the dolly weighted accordingly.
 
You must first decide what extent that you want to do your restoration before you start. In my case it was the only way to properly and thoroughly do what I need to do.

I wanted to design my rotisserie so that the car will be supported at its strongest points, which are the spring boxes and at the front cross member. In locating the centerline of the car enable me to rotate the body by myself with ease. And last, Installing large lockable wheel casters provide mobility to transport body to the paint booth. I have since join each end of the rotisserie to add additional stability with 2” tubing that’s bolted to each support.

I went with the stock grill. At one point I was going to black out all the trim but then staied with stock. Things change a lot through the process. The color changes several times before I went with the silver.

Nice shot! I like the low angle. Too many people stand up when taking car photos. The low angles present a better picture. I also like the slightly underexposed look. Makes for a rich looking photograph. :thumbsup:
