Hi everyone, my story short and sweet. I've had 3 jobs in my life, US Marines as an avionics technician 11 years, Delta airlines as a A&P mechanic 15 years, Sandvik Mining as a mechanic to a specialist 17 years dealing with blasthole drill rigs in a mining environment. I recently I joined the ranks of being semi-retired and love being home and not on the road.
I've been off since February but with honey dues and in the middle of rebuilding a 03 Forester I've been quite busy. The Subaru is running like a champ and now I'm kind of looking for another project or some work close to home, with no travel to keep me busy until my wife retires, and we can do whatever together.
So, I'm new to British cars but have been a gearhead all of my life. My son picked up this red MG B in a trade with one of his friends and has done nothing with it for maybe 10 years. I picked it up from him and now it is sitting in my garage. After a good cleaning, removal of seats, carpet, top, truck lid and hood it's waiting on me to bring her back to life.
I joined this site because I know and understand that the ones who do belong to a site like this love it and like to help others, they have a wide range of knowledge in just about anything dealing. I'm looking for about everything from schematics to any type of manual needed to work on these cars. It will stay in our family; I'm not looking to flip it or anything like that. One day it will go back to my son, and he can do with it what he wills as long as it stays in the family.

(it was rear ended in the parking lot which is partly how I got it after 13 or so years in the garage)
