& just for Doc...I couldn't turn the top over because the clear wasn't fully set, so I took a shot up through the rear window so you can see the underside:

Oh, paint codes:

Interior: Sherwin Williams Polane T - #1443 Off White
Exterior: Nason Urethane - Rover #118 Vermillion

That is awsum Tony, give Ricky my reguards.

Yup, I agree. Thanks Tony. I'll get some mixed up soon.

That's gonna look beautiful on the car.

BUMP!! Because I need the interior paint code...bought another MGB Works hardtop today that needs restoration....gonna do it OEW.

Where would you find this?

Good thread...I am going to look at third factory top this afternoon...Except this one is vermillion. If it's good enough I may just put it on the car(white) for the winter and worry about painting it in the spring.

Bought the hardtop over in east Tennessee

Interior paint code I used for the other top is what I meant, vinny....its not on the top anywhere...we spent a long time matching the original color with the little color squares.

I've got two Factory tops myself I am looking to refinish.

Well, they're not inexpensive especially when you replace all the rubber with new MacGregor pieces (he's the only guy who does some of them!)

Do you have any more info. part numbers, website on MacGregor? I am taking the frames across the street to a anodizer. He is going to strip them, then I will either polish or soft satin finish them. I pass him back over and he'll reanodize them. The Rear glass is good. The side windows are toast but I have .125" Scratch resistant Acrylic ala PERSPEX. I've created a layout and am going to cut out a new set. I'm even going to engrave the PERSPEX name in the lower corner like the originals. My seals are mostly shot and I'd really like to replace them all.

Let me know what info you dig up.

You can call Martin up in Ontario at 877.777.6381.

He's a most interesting fella, too.

I'm still hunting the right side aluminum for one, BTW. If ya come across one, I'd be overjoyed.

Will do - I'll be calling Martin soon for weatherstripping for the top I just bought.

Well, if you find more alum. trim, I need a set as well!

Mickey

Hmmm....maybe there's a market???

How much do these tops usually run for??? I know where I can get another one for about $200, with good windows, rubber, and headliner....just bad exterior paint.
