Restored Bugeye for sale

I used the same plans and made my own. Drill Press, Files, Angle Grinder with a cutting blade, Jig Saw and misc nuts and bolts. About $50 with all parts and pieces. Gerard's got the good stuff and next time I will buy rather than make myself.
 
Just took a little ride in the Bugeye before I put it away again. Had adjusted the valves and checked a few things for a few potential buyers. Man, I just love driving a Bugeye and you can't beat the power from a 1275! Really going to miss her!!
 
So ... are you married? Just buy another spridget. Two spridgets, two drivers, two passengers. That was my solution. No need to sell such a fun car.

I've recently had a fresh batch made up if anyone is interested. All the hardware is included too.

These look so much better than my home made version. Access to the right tools helps. Deposit sent for the BE in Toronto. Bugsy II will come home in mid March or so.

Good to hear it's found a new home. Tough choice to have to make (I know that all too well) but at least now you can move on.

As a point of reference for current market price for a beautifully restored Bugeye are you willing to share the "around $x selling point? My number was $12-15k for your BE.

I have a hunch, nothing more than speculation, but when I see CT as the new home, the question that comes to my mind is; what will be the asking price in a couple of weeks...?
 
You mean this one may appear as a You Tube Commercial from a certain location out east?
 
I'm amazed that David manages to make money on those cars. I have mixed feelings about it. It seems that he may be helping raise the value of the bugeyes. Good because I own one ... bad because I like the fact that since they are cheap I do not have to "sweat" replacing it should something unthinkable occur.
 
He often prices the good ones from $20K-25. Don't know what he actually gets for them, but he stands by them (and that can be of significant value to many).
 
The world of on line spridget enthusiasts is not that large. ;)
