Replacing Michelin Red Lines....a question

OK I got the message. So, what's the best tire for the 250? I am running original American racing Silverstone wheels.

When I bought my 1960 TR3 in 1993, it still had the original Michelin X's. The car had less than 23,000 miles at purchase. I drove it a few times, including the 70-80 mile trip home.
The side walls showed a little dry rot, but the tires were hard as a rock. I could really let the tail hang out in the bends. It was a ball to drive.
But, it was a relief to get new rubber.

you guys are killin' me...I recently bought some new bias plys for my hot rod....you're making me skeered to drive it...haha

I did check out the Coker website and found their Redline version which I thought were reasonably priced at 125.00 per. They are not steel-belted radials like the original Michelins. I wonder if the tire technology...ie" the ride and performance will be better than the original redlines I have now? Might be worthy of a new thread....Thanks.
